Kids will definitely enjoy the time in here. You need to buy tickets from the entrance to go inside the farm. There is lots of different lambs, goats and animals. There are volunteers to help you and there is a refreshment shop to buy food items like snacks and also there is cute dolls of animals.This place is near Hadleigh castle. Give it a try
A beautiful time spent cuddling the lambs and exploring the rare Breeds. It certainly makes a big difference having the volunteers take you arround, rather than turning up so see animals
It's a lovely place for a walk with the dog or a stroll with who ever your with there's a bike track for bmx etc plenty of scenery and you can see over the estuary for Mike's there's also a nice cafe, the hub where you can get food and drink
Really lovely little place. Wasn't too expensive to get in. All the animals seemed very happy and had specific food tubes to feed them. The playground was nice and right in the middle along side the picnic area which meant you are able to watch your children play whilst having a picnic, and the animal area surrounds you so you can see them all whilst having lunch. The toilets however were 2 portaloo's which were not very clean, and also at the time I went had no toilet roll, but saying this, there were multiple hand washing stations around the place and hand sanitiser.
Visited Salvation Army Rare Breeds Farm with wife, daughter & great grandson 17mths old for his first visit.nSaw numerous cattle, sheep, fowl, etc, which we all enjoyed. Also includes play area.nVisited The Hub cafe for light lunch.nVery enjoyable.
