Fantastic food, service! We popped in after our Boxing Day swim, despite us being visibly Muslim it was very very friendly and we all felt at ease. The crowd was also smiley and jolly. The servers were also very polite and attentive, Perhaps it was Boxing Day spirit or perhaps it was just a lovely place to enjoy dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed my vegan chicken burger and the calamari. Absolutely beautifully done and would go back just for that. Portions were also very generous and we all felt full after.
Wanted to come here for a great pint and I did! It's a really lovely local pub and restaurant, gorgeous setting by the sea/Clevedon Marine Lake front with stunning views. Lots of outdoors seating, lovely decorated inside, spacious, clean, great proper cask ale, the food menu looks good and competitively priced and, the locally made cakes are delicious...my chocolate Muffin was to die for! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and delightful, big smiles and Sophie was lovely. Also met Gary the landlord owner outside in the carpark who seemed very helpful with my car battery dilemma and offered to help if I had problems. Gary explained how the parking system works and that I'd get a refund off the bill when I ordered a drink or food off etc. Definitely worth remembering to get your car registration entered on the camera controlled carpark machine and it's £3 coins only for three hours but Gary or the staff will refund you this off the bill! Thanks to you all for such a great place and experience. Will be back definitely as the food on the menu looked delicious and very competitively priced. Recommend a visit here when next in the Clevedon seafront promenade and area..
Had lovely meal and service here on Wednesday evening. There were four of us and we all really enjoyed our meal. Chips best I’ve had in a long time!
Food was good, the garden was great, a bit windy but not anyone’s fault! The menu was a bit limited and ordering outside was a bit complicated.
We visited during a heatwave, yet the staff were very helpful and double checked menu items for our son who has a nut allergy. While we waited for our food, enjoying a drink, the children played in the Salthouse's adventure playground which has a wooden teepee, play train, car etc and picnic tables. We had burgers for dinner in toasted brioche buns, with sides of chips and salad, the children ordered from the kids menu - all dishes were delicious and we left very content customers. Would highly recommend The Salthouse and if ever we visit Clevedon again, we'll definitely back.
Large family friendly pub with huge amounts of outdoor space and some of the best views in Cleveland. It's situated above the outdoor pool with views to Cleveland pier. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and real attention to detail on the presentation, staff were friendly. The pub will refund your £3 parking if you use the car park by the entrance, take cash!
Nice view on the Poet‘s walk path and Clevedon Marine Lake. Always nice to enjoy great food here after the walk. Cheers.
Friendly staff, great food. Parking on the spot, 3£ but can be refunded if you buy food from them.
Visited Christmas Eve 2022, it was my great-aunts 93rd birthday, party of 6 and nothing was too much bother. Due to dietary requirements for one of the party we brought along our own cake, and the staff were more than happy for us to have this at our table. But not only this they provided candles, a cutting knife, plates, napkins and forks. Dog friendly to top it all off, again staff providing doggo treats as well. 10/10 for everything, staff, food, everything.
We booked a Ruby Anniversary surprise party here for 22 guests last weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff were polite and helpful, all the orders we had prebooked were spot on and the food amazing. We were very impressed given how many of us there were. Well recommended and in the summer, such lovely views out to sea and across to the pier.
