My favourite & the best station café around. 30 years old this year as well!
Why do they still have a £3 minimum charge? Ended up paying £4.25 for a £2.50 drink as I had to buy an inedible stale piece of flapjack as I didn't have any cash. I thought this was against EU directive? Or are they proactive Brexiteers?
My favourite station café in the South East! Not a franchise, plenty of staff at busy times, rapid friendly service. It's on platform 2 don't use the chain place at the station hall, you'll pay double for something half as good.
A really sweet little tea room with lots of train photographs. Home made sandwiches and cakes, it's like stepping back in time except with modern day prices. Very warm and cozy
Beware if you just want a coffee for £2.30 they will charge minimum of £3.00 if you pay by card. Won't going there in future.
Cute cafe, effective staff means you're not waiting long but pleasant with it - great to grab a coffee and a bacon butty in a hurry before a train. 5 stars now they've started accepting cards/contactless
