Now what a place. Set and built in the 17th century with a thatched roof. Out door sitting and inside with a late medieval vibe to it. Prices are good and food is lovely. Would highly reccomend.

We were treated by our family for our wedding anniversary, friendly staff and beautiful fresh food, between us we had steak, pies and burgers all were beautifully cooked and plenty of it, I had chocolate brownie and it was the best ever. Outside there were ponies walking by which our young grandson loved watching. Cant wait to go back

Should be renamed the royal oak restaurant as its not a pub as called in for a drink and no tables free as taken uo by people eating. Thought the point of a pub was to have a drink so very disappointed and spent my money elsewhere.
