Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this business to this particular platform..nnWe arranged to meet friends here and accordingly pre booked a table for a meal here..nnOn arrival, the staff were very welcoming and we were directed to our table, but as the weather was so nice, we asked if we could possibly eat outside..nThis was not a problem..nnAs for the ambience ?, out the back is a large outside area, parr of which is under cover ..nIt is a lovely space to sit and chat with a sea view, and on our day of visiting, there was Dj playing reggae style music, then other styles until around 7pm..nnThe cusine was excellent. It wasn't like pub grub that one may usually expect in such a business . No, the cusine was very tasty and looked great as well..nnSo if you're in the area and want an excellent pub to enjoy quality cusine and various craft beers other drinks also available as would be expected here.., I highly recommend this business pub, too this review platform
We had a lovely meal & drinks in this lovely pub in Fishguard. The team were really friendly. It was busy the night we were their a quiz so we had to squeeze in early. Great menu choices for pub grub. Well looked after and quaint place. No parking but there is some a few hundred yards away. Literally right in the cetnre of town. Well worth a visit in the area.
Looking from a vegetarian point of view my portion of sausages and mash was quite small, visually it didn't look great, however I can not fault the taste. The sauce was delicious and I would like much more of it. Maybe served separately? I didn't like the fact that sausages were covered in it. I would prefer to eat it with vegetables. And now if we compare this dish with my husband's- he had peri peri chicken half of it, and lots of sides which I would love to have with mine, like corn on the cob, coleslaw, fresh salad. I tasted all of them and they were delicious! Salad dressing was awesome too. And let's compare the prices- half of the chicken plus sides £17. Two sausages with some mash and broccoli £15. Doesn't add up. My husband would give a 5 star review. I'm giving 4.
We stopped here on the way to the ferry and had a wonderful Sunday roast. The bar is dog friendly which was a real bonus, and they had a beer garden too. Highly recommend
We popped in on a bank holiday Sunday to see if the 2 of us could eat. The helpful staff managed to fit us in for our dinner! Great food, great staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you all very much.
