Fab roast from a great local pub. Everyone was super friendly and we had a good chat with the barman - even ended up buying a book about the pub being haunted - and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Roasts 10/10 with tons of vegetables carrots, green beans, broad beans, swede mash, roasties, sprouts, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, red cabbage and extra gravy for the table.nnThere’s no Sunday menu as such, it’s just pick your meat and it’ll come with all the trimmings for £14.95, which frankly is a really good competitive price for the amount of food. Very generous portions and tons of meat.nnWill definitely be back when we’re next in the area.

Just had the best Roast dinner. Had the best beef I had ever tasted. It came with Roast and mashed potatoes cauliflower broccoli cabbage Brussel sprouts broad beans green beans carrots peas and Yorkshire pudding. Also came with extra gravy. Excellent value all very friendly. Brilliant. Can’t recommend highly enough. Had all this amazing dinner and two pints all for just under £25nFabulous

We just stopped in for a quick drink on our way out of Swanage as all the pubs in the town were busy.nSuch a lovely place cozy and quirky with a lovely garden, really friendly staff who clearly loved engaging with anyone who walks through the door.nWe'll happily visit again if we're back in the area.

Amazing spooky old pub. Was here just for drinks as we missed the food time. Interesting place. The garden is awesome, quite a few tables on a bit of an incline.  Mini stone circle and memorials out there.

Walked in and not really welcomed,only for local people. Roast was stodgy and medioca hard potatoes,  mushy vegetables, cheap meat by the taste of it and not roasted enough. Only plus was nice staff members
