Good small pub in the heart of Painswick, currently table only service & lacking a bit of atmosphere due to current restrictions. Friendly bar man & spotlessly clean. Also dog friendly which isna great plus.

Would I choose to eat here again. No. Would I eat here again if I was desperate. No. Overpriced poor quality food. Fish and chips were awful. Grey, tough, dry fish. Cold peas and indifferent chips. Whole meal was barely warm, and that after waiting the best part of an hour for the food after ordering.
