I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year and had Chemo, Radiotherapy and surgery (and genetics testing) at the Royal Marsden Sutton. I only recently finished treatment and I must say the staff are excellent, the doctors are amazing, their rehabilitation servces are extremely helpful. Beating Cancer is as much an emotional, mental battle as it is a physical one and their support in every aspect is worth applauding. I consider myself lucky to have been referred here and am eternally grateful to them for saving my life. Thank you so much RM Sutton and I hope to support the hospital in any way I can.

The doctors, nurses and the rest of personnel are sensitive and professional people. It is possible that they deal with patients of untreatable illness to be such caring people but my impression is that they have natural ability and character to treat the patient with proper attention.

I have not even used the hospital facilities but I can already tell the staff are amazing. I called to ask about obtaining a summer placement in the pharmacy department. Most other hospitals I called were extremely rude and did not give me the time of day. However, at the Marsden, all the staff members I spoke to took the time to answer my queries. The person in charge took my details and told me to call her back. When I did, she actually answered (!) both times and was extremely helpful and seemed like she genuinely cared. Great service!

My daughter attends the Childrens/adolescent department as an outpatient now , having been diagnosed with ALL aged 2, the level of care and support my daughter and our family received has been astounding

I am writing to express my gratitude to Dr. Ring and his clinical team and the staff of the Smithers ward. My special thanks go to the anaesthesiologist Dr. Michael Frow and his nurse specialist Wendy Jones. Their exceptional skills and compassion made otherwise stressful procedure completely painless and effective. I am feeling much better now. Thank you again, Dr. Zdena A. Labounkova
