Fantastic location to sit outside on a nice day and sup on a beer or get a bite to eat. I can never refuse Cullen Skink when it's on the menu, really tasty.
Great dinner. While I will admit this was not our first choice for dinner we stopped in Cromarty on a busy night. The Royal Hotel was the only place in town that made room for us and we were not disappointed. The view was excellent. The service was great considering how hot is was and how busy they were. We had the fish soup-excellent; The mussels-delicious; and the crab pasta-refreshing. Thanks for a great and memorable meal.
My husband and I had dinner there this evening, 27th October. Our waitress Catherine was brilliant and very informed about food allergies. The dinner itself was tasty and portions very generous. The place, table settings, etc. were immaculate. The dining room had a cosy fire. Highly recommend.Service: 5/5
Went to see the lighthouse nearby and called here for Sunday lunch and The beef dinner was something else, beef just broke up on fork, I would recommend it to anyone, staff are friendly and happy to see you..Service: 5/5

My family had a fantastic experience at the Royal Hotel. Jenny, Alick & Ellie the cutest little dog greeting us personally during dinner and breakfast. Not many hoteliers will do that! The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. The food is great as well. We will certainly try to be back soon!Rooms: 5/5

We stopped here for lunch today and they managed to squeeze us in even although they were fully booked for mothers day. Myself, my partner and my two daughters really enjoyed our food, and the gentleman who served us in the bar was really lovely. We were £127.40 for the four of us to have a main, dessert and soft drink each.Service: 4/5
