The perfect meal out! A lively and warm atmosphere with a higher wood fired pizza oven. The menu was filled with a great range of dishes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Our food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. What REALLY stood out, was the wonderfully attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble and our lovely waitress wish I caught her name was beyond outstanding. She made sure my son and I had lemon and honey teas for our colds. Will definitely recommend and I wish we were local enough to pop back regularly. We stayed the night for a local attraction. The room was very nice. It’s definitely a restaurant with a hotel rather than a hotel with restaurant.
Stopped here as highly recommended by others. Vibrant atmosphere really attentive staff food was delicious. Lots of parking. Interesting cups for hot drinks. I'm glad I went had a lovely time lovely presentation of food and not long wait time either. It was during the week at lunch time was rather busy a wonderful experience. One can stay here but I cannot comment the experience maybe in the future I will book here.
We had a lovely meal here. The food was superb. Surroundings and atmosphere wonderful. It is expensive. Our first server was great but part way through our meal they changed and the second one didn't seem very interested. We would have had more drinks but we weren't asked.Service: 3/5
Parking was easy on arrival. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, only there for one night but they all made a geat impression. Room was comfortable clean and nice decor. We booked an accessible room for the bathroom and space as my husband has some mobility issues though not needing a wheelchair. It was well laid out and well equipped for wheelchair users if you needed it and still looked good as well as being functional. Much better than many equivalent rooms we have experienced. Breakfast was really good. Didn't eat in the evening so can't comment on that.
visited with the family for xmas day and was very happy with everything. staff were amazing! they were all very attentive and the service was great. place was entirely full which we didn't expect but the food, drink and general atmosphere were perfect. worth every penny and we'll definitely be returning.Service: 5/5
Delicious food, enjoyed a lovely meal here. Everyone on the table enjoyed their meal! Staff were very friendly and didn't have to wait too long for anything. A nice amount of vegan options on the menu too.
I visited on a Tuesday lunch time and as the weather was lovely I opted to sit outside. On going to the bar, the girl was very helpful. On asking about dining outside, she said that was fine. However, I would need to return to the bar to order and pay. As there were plenty of staff around I could not work why a waiter or waitress could not take my order outside I chose the gammon, steak and chips. If I wanted peas they were £2.75 extra! The food was good and I enjoyed sitting in the sun Well, I love my desserts. On checking the menu, the choice was good, however, they were £9.00 each. The Royal Foresters won the prize for the most expensive desserts in Bracknell. I decided against a dessert. Would I go back. Possibly if I was walking in the area, however, I would not make a special trip there. Food & drinks: Expensive for what you get
Very disappointing..... We booked a table for 16 to celebrate a colleagues 21st birthday. Firstly, the area of the restaurant that we were put in was very dark, so much so that we couldn't see what we were eating or each other..... Secondly, the food was very slow to arrive, and when it did, a number of the dishes were cold and had to be sent back. There were also some incorrect orders that also had to be sent back. Dessert was the "highlight".... What was supposed to be a baked cheesecake with a cherry compote, was more like the sole of a slipper with some soft tinned cherries stuck on the plate..... That will be £9.00 please.... The only real highlight of our visit was the patient service of the young girl that attended our table. Many thanks.
Food was unpleasant at best, anything that was fried left a horrible taste in your mouth which I can only assume was from dirty oil in the cooker. I had to clean my mouth with mouthwash when I arrived home. Notwithstanding the food, the service was lovely and very attentive which was nice.
Was working just up the road from this pub and went in for a quick pint after work one day my first thought was I probably should not be in here in my work clothes because every thing was very clean and tidy. I sat at the bar and the staff where very friendly. I didn't eat here but I did see wot was coming out the kitchen and I think I might try this one evening as it actually looked very nice. There is ample parking and rooms available for the night. When I've been back and sampled the food IL let everyone now how it was
