My in-laws and I stayed at The Royal & Fortescue this week and I couldn't be more grateful for their kindness. Sadly my husband required an unexpected stay at the hospital whilst he was on holiday in Devon, and we had to make a last minute booking at the hotel. They were so kind to us, allowed us to extend the booking at the last minute and helped make my mother in laws birthday as special as possible during this difficult time. The breakfast was delicious, beds comfortable and rooms were spotless. We will absolutely be back hopefully under better circumstances!. Thank you again to all the team, your kindness and flexibility helped so much.
We stayed here for one night on the 18th January due to a business trip, from check in to checking out the hospitality was faultless, with the lady at front desk very welcoming, friendly and informative !!!!! A Great start…nWe stayed in a standard double, room was spacious, warm and had little touches that provided us with all we needed,nEvening…. We went to the cocktail bar, Bar 62nHad a drink and due to the lovely young lady serving us “LILY”, we decided to stay and eat…nI would highly recommend this hotel, I believe it’s people that make places, and Lily was incredibly professional, attentive and passionate at her job giving per cent customer service, we will definitely go back to this amazing place with genuinely amazing staff,nnFab location by the way
Stunning hotel, throughly enjoyed my stay. All staff members are lovely, rooms are clean and the bed was VERY comfy! Food is delicious and so fresh! Would definitely be staying again. Highly recommended
Had a drink in 62 The Bank, lovely barman welcomed us. We wanted a meal but the restaurant wasn't open till 6, we decided to wait . I'm glad we did, great food. Lovely surroundings , waiter attentive.
We had a fantastic stay here, Hotel great, rooms good and clean, the bars and restaurants food lovely, staff great. Car park at the back alittle small and hard to find, but all in all a great place to be, had a wander through the town, stopped off in the Shop Eclectic and bought some Film memorabilia in the Green lanes shopping centre great place to stop by.
