We had a group booking there and were surprised with the help of family run place and with their hospitality!
Lovely meal as part of Newport Food Festival. Great talk about Carningli Dairy and their brilliant ethos for their farm, animal welfare, the environment and wildlife.

Food was lovely, and filling I couldn't finish mine. but the signs everywhere stating if kids are with you they need to be quiet and not run around where off putting. Especially when It sounded like a Hurd of elephants live upstairs. 1 sign near the bar would have been enough. Also cod and haddock are completely different fish. Haddock is flakier and drier. Service wasn't that great either the young boy who brought out our food sounded as if he didn't want to be there. Overall if you want somewhere for great food come here but dont expect great service.
Probably the worst curry we have ever had. Every dish was the same and the comments on the menu about not being able to take heat and no refunds where laughable.
Fab food and freshly cooked. Didn't look much from outside but service made up for it. Would recommend
Really good food. I had a lovely lamb curry and my wife, a really nice pair of hake fillets. Both were beautifully cooked The pub was very busy but it took a lille time to get the mess, but this didn't detract from the experience. Very nice and good value. Thanks to the staff, especially the two young waitresses who worked tirelessly up and down from the kitchen.
Delicious Curry, what I now consider an enormous portion after living in Bristol for a few years. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals very much. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere.
Extortionate prices, bog standard food. Probably one of the most expensive curries you can buy in Pembrokeshire however the flavour and presentation is ready-meal level. Will suit you if you have more money than sense. You’re better off going to an actual Indian restaurant. Very unsatisfactory.
Interesting selection of real ales, varied menu with good portions of tasty food. Friendly, efficient staff.
