Amazing as always! If you want the best Carvery, come here! Great prices and service. And the food is always top notch. Can't wait to come back again. Hopefully it's sooner than last time ;)

Simply brilliant carvery. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is tasty and portions generous. They even let me take carvery away last weekend because my other half is laid up with ruptured discs in back. Cannot recommend enough.

While visiting from the USA, myself and family members from Stacksteads called in on a Thursday afternoon. We had just had a service earlier that day for our mother. Being diabetic, I could feel my blood sugar was low so I went to order from the menu. I was told that orders would start in about an hour as it was only 4:30pm. I enquired about somewhere local I could get a quick sandwich and explained I was diabetic. The barmaid asked the landlord and immediately I was asked what sandwich I wanted and did I want anything with it. I got the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. Fresh bread, huge cuts of turkey and a generous helping of stuffing. They even offered my sandwich on the house (free) but I refused and paid. Not only was the food great but the service is nothing short of spectacular. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Whenever I come back home to visit, this will be the only place from now on.

The carvery is always fantastic value, plenty to eat. The staff are friendly and they work very hard clearing tables, making space. Booking recommended.

SUPER PLACE!!! Home cooked great food in a traditional environment. The huge Yorkshire puddings and homemade gravy especially delicious !!
