I arrived for a meal at peak time..12.45 on a Tuesday. Thinking it might be quiet,but I guess they are well known for good reasonable meals. Needless to say, it was busy,and we found the last table. Somebody came straight away to take our drinks order. We ordered food not long after that, and it arrived at our table withinin a short while. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. There's is a public car park to the rear,so you have the opportunity to go for a walk along the promenade to see the barges to walk off your meal or wander around the shops. A very good place to go. I would recommend
A good friend and I meet here about one a month as it’s got a great atmosphere, prices are very reasonable and I’ve never had a bad meal from there in the past few years. The staff are friendly and efficient especially Kim who we always have a quick chat with.nnIf I had to find a negative it would be the Internet access in there – the phones mobile signal is quite bad so I think everybody is trying to use the Wi-Fi which is horrendously slow on busy periods and sometimes make it extremely difficult to use the app and order food/drinks.nMaybe a computer guru could allow Wetherspoons app to have priority on the Wi-Fi which would really really help
Nice little spot for a cheap drink and bit of breakfast. Traditional olde English pub. Nice atmosphere.
Nice pub, super quick service very polite.
It's a weatherspoons u get what u pay for OK food at a OK price good beer at good price... We eat here because if kids don't like it the pocket is still in tact.... Its OK eaten worse for more.
