I was recommended this place by a friend of mine who built it up - saying it is the best pie he had eaten...he wasn't wrong! I ordered 3 different pies including their Moroccan Lamb and they were all amazing. They were packed full of flavour and really generous servings of meat. The shortcrust pastry was perfect as well. In addition to this I was told by the server that I should have a doughnut as they were well-known for these; again it was really great - the jam inside was so tasty and the doughnut itself fluffy with the right amount of crispiness. This place is definitely worth a stop if you're visiting.
Best apple bread pudding I’ve ever tasted, amazing steak and ale pie, lovely pastry and packed with lovely steak, delicious quiche and delicious bakewell slice. Not tried all of the items we purchased yesterday and yes we did spent quite a bit but worth the 50 mile round trip, coupled with a nice walk round Dulverton, which has a good choice of independent shops and cafes.
Firstly I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Christine for her scrumptious cakes. They were absolutely devine! Christine very kindly donated us over 200 cupcakes & delivered them to us all the to Somerset for our Spring Ball! Everybody commented on how lovely they looked & tasted. Christine is a truly wonderful and kindhearted lady. I cannot wait to visit her bakery, to purchase some more cakes!! Thank you so much Christine! Lily & everyone at Gary’s Gift!!
Difficult to choose which is best, but after a lot of research we think it's the Steak & Stilton. Best pies ever!

Game pie & Somerset crumble delicious.Deserves the high acclaim it receives and can recommend a visit if u are in this part of the world
I had a shortbread biscuit which was ok, I also bought a chocolate and orange marble cake which I stupidly/generously shared with my husband, it was extremely tasty. He had a beef and Stilton pie and claimed it was his best pie, ever. If you're in the area it is a must!

Bought a full size carrot cake last week, Honestly the best carrot cake I've ever eaten! cant wait to come back to Exmoor to visit the bakery again!
