Our daughter is currently in reception and we are incredibly happy with the school so far. With several schools closer to us we only decided to visit RFA at the last minute, but I'm so glad we did as we fell in love with it! It's a really stimulating environment for the children with the beautiful old school building refurbished so wonderfully, modern facilities and a really welcoming atmosphere. My daughter is very happy here and the teachers have all been brilliant with great communication. I am impressed by the wide ranging curriculum, providing lots of space for subjects such as art and music, but then equally impressed at the progress she's made with her reading, writing and maths over the year. We feel very lucky to have found this school!
We have been so pleased with how well run and engaging this school is. Our daughter always loves going to school and the quality of their teachers is superb. The facilities themselves are stunning and aways kept in such great condition. We love the community spirit of the school and look forward to many more years as part of RFA.
My son is in year 4 at this school. It is fantastic. The staff are all wonderful putting the needs of the children first. Each child is treated individually and all is done to interact with parents and carers to promote the child’s well being. It has a lovely community feel and without a doubt I could recommend this school.
Both my children have attended The Robert Fitzroy Academy since the nursery. All staff at this school are brilliant, really helpful and I feel that my children reception and year 6 is receiving everything they needs at school and their teachers have been great at keeping us updated with theirs school life and class lessons. They are both very happy at the RFA and have never experienced any problems. I have been very impressed with how the school managed home learning during the pandemic. RFA is a fantastic school and I'm very glad that I chose to send my child here - the early years provision really is excellent, and the teaching staff are friendly, talented and clearly put everything into the job. Alongside the academic side of things, the school stood out for us for its strong focus on developing all aspects of the kids' personalities, particularly in areas like art and music the art provision especially was by far the best out of all the local schools we visited. The school is full of the pupils artistic creations and it makes for a really inspiring atmosphere. There's a real community feel to the school too, and I'm looking forward to seeing how my children develop as they go through the years here.
