Had a nice Sunday meal here. Food was good, portions were big. Service was very friendly. Could have been a bit quicker and more attentive. But no major issues. The open fire is lovely and cozy! Will come again.Food: 4/5
This is a lovely pub for a superb meal or just a casual get together. I found it to be very welcoming, nice, and warm. They offer an extensive menu, and the food was excellent. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Been a few times over the past few years, and always expect average food at high expense, but it’s a nice pub. Had the special vegetable burrito today and it was awful, nothing in it and looked like it had been run over. It was a quick pit stop lunch, so I ate it and got on with the day, but for £15 and with a bit of a wait, I felt pretty hard done by. Don’t get how a professional chef can come up with something that bad. My wife’s fish goujon sandwich was dry and bland too…Will just have a pint next time
Very nice place to meet and eat and socialise. Right in the centre of town and with very attentive staff. Menu also very varied and catering for all food tastes. Recommended to anyone thinking about visiting and prices were reasonable too which was a pleasant surpriseFood: 5/5
A lovely pub very popular. The room was decorated nicely. Bed was very comfy, did advise them, that they may need new pillows, they were very thin really. Everything was very nice. Roast dinner was a little pricey I thought. Would go back Walkability: Right in the middle of Cranleigh. Parking: We had to go in and ask about parking as there were no spaces. But someone moved their car who I believe was only having a drink. Sorted quickly
Been to this lovely pub few times now. Food is outstanding. Better than some restaurants I've been to. Prices are ok. Service attentive but not intrusive. Very friendly and helpfull. Beers spot on. Good wines. I've been working in hospitality for over 20 and just couldn't find anything to complain about. Well done guys and thank you.
Lovely staff. Fabulous spacious well equipped rooms, private parking, decent wifi, good shower. The food was lovely. Really enjoyed our night here. Thanks to all the staff.Food: 5/5
Wonderful small hotel. Impeccable rooms and service. Stayed here several times and always my first choice in Cranleigh. Recommend the restaurant menu and seasonal variety.Food: 5/5
This place is great! I really like the atmosphere, especially during the winter, next to the fireplace. There is nice selection of craft beers. The food and service are also amazing.
Have been very satisfied up until my last stay . I was given a room right near the Kitchen which was fine until one of the staff decided to blast the radio out at about 7 am . Also the water from the bathroom tap wasn't hot enough to have a decent shave. The breakfast is usually excellent but I'm afraid the bacon i had was well over cooked. Parking: The parking is a free for all with people not staying at the pub using spaces .
