I SO want to love this place, I’ve been multiple times, each time with a different crowd hoping the service would be better, but sadly disappointed. Great concept and interior design. Menu seems promising, however the 5 times I’ve visited, the food has always been slow, cold and needing to be sent back. Today, there was a fly in our coffee, the muffin was stale and again, food was cold. The service is slow and although they have good intentions, the staff appear to be a bit switched off. Getting cutlery seems to take 10 minutes. I won’t give up hope as it’s the only place of its kind in Romford and i do support the idea. My advice would be to tighten things up and get a better routine of service, keep food fresher and hot and speed up service. Best of luck! Hopefully will be visiting again later in the future and leaving with an improved experience.
This is a very strange place indeed. I went in the evening, and though there seem to be 3 main eating outlets serving Italian, Indian and Burgers only the Indian and Burgers were available, the Italian closing earlier. It can be quite a noisy place but is full of life. If you're looking for somewhere to go for a drink in the evening this place offers lots of different varieties of some main drinks, wine, all colours, whiskey, gin, rum and I think there were some more. I didn't imbibe, as i was driving back, but the prices seemed reasonable. Food is available for veggies and vegans, as well as meat eaters. What's not to like. You may even be entertained for the evening. When i went a local college were holding their assessments there, not to everyone's taste maybe but i enjoyed what i heard. Good luck
Was a super fun night. Great live music, really helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere inside. Various choices of food with 3 different kitchens to choose from. Were having some issues the night I visited however really professional and dealt with everything well. A place to find you want to escape Romford!
Popped in today for lunch I had the halloumi fries and salad, have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it. The atmosphere is chilled so it's not fast-food like. The toilet facilities were clean and tidy.
Lovely spot for a bit of lunch. Room for a buggy and baby friendly.
Like a little slice of Shoreditch in Romford! A great little place, whether you’re after food, coffee or booze. It consists of a few different businesses, a bar, a burger bar, an Indian and an Italian. I’ve only tried the curry, which was beautiful, homemade, authentic; but I’ve heard the pasta is equally as good. Slightly inconvenient that you have to order it separately from the different vendors and the service is sometimes a little slow but it’s not the end of the world. Quirky decoration and some outdoor seating. Give it a whirl!
This place is totally unique for Romford. It combines shopping and eating downstairs. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. Upstairs are co-working spaces which are really friendly and creative. Well worth a visit - especially Gin and Jazz!
Great people making good things happen in Romford market. This place has love sprinkled all over it. From the foods, the music, through the drinks and the decor. Is it perfect, nowhere is, but there are brave people making bold choices trying to run a business that breaks with the Romford mold to do some different and interesting, which they need to be commended. Well worth a visit! X
My wife had s burger which she said was really nice; she had it with sweet potatoes chips which I mostly ate, which were good. I had Carbonara which was lovely and garlic bread. The pasta was really fresh and melted in the mouth. This place is dog friendly, we brought out German Shepard.
Best place in Romford to chill out, to work, food is excellent too. It has a unique setup in that there are 3 different food outlets within the same area so you always have a lot of choice. All worth a try, Jas Curry is excellent homemade authentic food, there’s your usual English café and an Italian.
