Stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting family as they have no room for us to stay. Lovely room, great service, professional staff in all departments. Big shout out to George manager and of course Kenny Head chef. Top. Great location to tour surrounding countryside and also nip into Aberdeen. New Road cuts loads of time off trips around Aberdeen, shame it took so long to build. Perfect for airport/ heliport and New P&J Arena, which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Recommend this hotel in all aspects. Thank you
Absolutely perfect if your using P@J Live, there is a path from the hotel to the venue. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and staff are wonderfull, also a very good restaurant and bar. We've had a great couple of days and would definitely return 5* also the windows open which I'm finding rareRooms: 5/5
Didn't stay overnight hence no grade for rooms. Service was really good, friendly amenable staff. The food quality was fine, the choices were more limited for vegetarians then in some other restaurants. Fat chips were excellentService: 4/5
The hotel was OK, a little let down by service and not because of the service staff. Arrived at 21:07 after a 10-hour drive, only to find the restaurant shut at 21:00 with no reasonable alternative. Waited 20mins in the bar area before having to go to find somebody to serve a beer well...Tennants. The rooms were small, and the bed was too short for an average height bloke to fit his feet in without going foetal. Aside from these negative points the rooms were comfortable, clean, with a good shower. The service was friendly but clearly understaffed - not the fault of the staff. Check-in/out was fast and pleasant. Parking was included. Location was useful for business but not really for anything else. The bar does have one of the best whisky selections I've seen in a hotel, probably excellent if you manage to get one Rooms: Small, clean and warm. Food & drinks: Mostly absent and overpriced. Great whisky collection. Noteworthy details: Car park has sunken spots near the wall so better to forward park for access to your boot without the inevitable swimming pool around your feet.
Rooms small but just perfect for our needs, clean, good shower. Staff really friendly. Evening meal menu is fabulous and food is wonderful. Location for exhibition centre and airport is ideal.Rooms: 4/5
We had a really great time at this hotel. We stayed in Gleneagles suite and it was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy and the bathroom was lovely. We had a very friendly welcome at the reception and bar. In the restaurant we were served by the very charismatic Leon who was full of fun and nothing was too much trouble! Food was fab and I would recommend the haggis and black pudding bon bons! We will most definitely be back when we are in the area. Lovely hotel with lovely people, who made our anniversary a great time.
Stay away Went here for the night after attending a concert at the P&j live. We arrived at the hotel to find our key sitting on a table with a letter with my name on it and the room that we were staying in. the room was filthy and we arrived to blood stained blankets, dirty curtains, dirty floors, wallpaper coming of walls and wet stained in ceiling. We then went to get some dinner before our concert to be told we couldn’t get into the restaurant as we hadn’t made a booking even though we were staying in the hotel. really don’t think our stay is worth all the money we paid.. the whole experience was horrible from start to finish The manager is really rude and unpleasant.
Another great stay at the Craighaar Hotel. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast served by pleasant staff. Polite, helpful reception staff made it easy to book. Looking forward to another visit in the summer.
Went for a meal and enjoyed the food. The staff were very pleasant but not well trained which is down to the management but hopefully that will improve with time.Service: 3/5
Nice place friendly staff. 1 problem couldn't get food all tables booked in advance no spare tables for residents. Have to remember in futureRooms: 5/5
