Had my first experience of the Newtown Cinema last night for Star Wars, after only recently moving to the area. We were hugely impressed with the Cinema, with a great friendly service, a nicely laid out room, with comfortable & supportive seats (the first time in many years I've come away without aching parts!), the screen size whilst not the largest is spot on for the size of the room, and the sound is by far the best I've experienced at a cinema for over a decade. Finally there's the ticket price, the same showing last night at the VUE cinema we used to go to was £11+, so to get all of this for £5 is simply amazing. We've all said that we will definitely be going again & more often!

Complete Cinema experience at a fraction of the usual cost. Pick a popular film (especially a chick flick) and go on "Half price Monday" - the audience adds to the whole package as well.

small cosy cinema but as it's local it's also convenient and has the latest films.

A proper well run tidy cinema. Just like the old days , it should be supported by all who live or spend leisure time in beautiful Mid Wales .

Excellent little cinema ... its worth noting ... all films on a monday ... even bank holiday mondays are only £3.50 per person .. bargin i say .. lol
