Story

Former hotel and pub, the Red Lion was re-opened by JD Wetherspoon on 5th July 2011. The Red Lion inn is situated on Sway Road, just off Morriston cross. We serve great food and drink every day 8am-11pm, which includes breakfast, real ale, evening meals, a childrens menu, and desserts.We're a family friendly pub that caters for bookings and we have customer parking to the side of the pub.

Right in the heart of Morriston, The Red Lion is the place to be before hitting the town on a Friday or Saturday nights.

Everything came from the kitchen hot and freshly prepared. We've had a few experiences there recently where parts of the order have been cold, or have dried up from being left on the hotplate for too long... but today everything was good, and the pizzas were very good.

Typical Wetherspoons good prices for decent food. Using the app meant no need to visit the bar. Food came quickly. Egg yolk not totally solid but not too runny. Staff friendly. Toilets up several stairs as usual. Good variety menu.

We often go to the red lion to try out their seasonal menu. They have a wide range of condiments, in particular they have mayonnaise. We often enjoy the breakfasts as the hot beverages as they are unlimited, which is great for busy mums.

Friendly local atmosphere with a fast efficient service and plenty of space to sit down. Usual good selection of food and drinks that you find in wetherspoons

Good option Wetherspoon. Great food, great selection of beer. Fish and chips are tasty and well cooked, I took beans instead of peas. My wife's gammon cooked to her liking. Plenty of seating. Toilets upstairs and car park not large but great pub with good atmosphere
