We had a number of hot Meze dishes. Most of them were actually lovely. But the lamb skewer was very tough. We couldn't chew probably half of it. Definitely needs a better quality lamb. The service was good though. Nothing to complain about. All in all, a pleasant experience.Food: 4/5
The food here is so delicious, it felt like being in Greece! I had the pork souvlaki with rice and salad. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The service was good and it’s definitely value for money. The only tiny critique I have is that the olives in the salad weren’t pitted. Apart from that it was excellent.Food: 5/5
I have ordered food from this restaurant several times. Sometimes it was brilliant and sometimes not so good. Inconsistent, unfortunately. Today I have received a food delivered by UberEats and this food I would not feed to my worst enemy. Burned meet, cold, dry, just unacceptable. After a bite, it has landed in the trash. Money wasted. I attach the picture below for your reference. That was my last order from that place unfortunately. Sad I must say...
Had the Big beans didn’t taste of much, chicken souvlaki which was ok and Calamari which was nice but was given a tiny portion. Wouldn’t recommend the food but the staff were friendly
Had a decent lunch here from their £8.95 set menu. Everything was really good although portions were a little on the small side. Particularly enjoyed the flatbread with dips. Service was excellent. Worth a visit.
This was our first visit to The Real Freak, and, it certainly will not be our last. Our food/meal was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection and were certainly spoilt for choice - the food was seasoned and cooked extremely well, perfection! The price for two of us dining was very reasonable indeed.
We won’t be ordering from here again.... this was our first time and we placed our order with UberEats and wasted a promo code we had. Firstly, we ordered hummus and crudités, see picture attached of the hummus, it was about one spoon’s worth and it cost us over £5. The crudités it came with were old, celery was dry and turning brown, cucumber also looked dry, and carrots as well as the others were covered in these little brown dots it all just looked dirty and old. My husband is gluten free so he ordered the chicken skewer. Don’t get how it’s the same price as a chicken souvlaki, it’s just a tiny skewer of chicken but actually that was prob the least worst food we got. He also got a Greek salad and said it was ok. I ordered chicken souvlaki without tomatoes. It barely had any tzatziki sauce, and was covered in tomatoes. The whole thing was luke warm at best we literally live 5 minute drive from the restaurant and so soggy, including the chicken, it was just a generally bad meal. I couldn’t even eat the hummus because there was so little I just let my husband have it. This was actually one of the worst takeouts I have ever had. It seems based on other reviews this place is hit or miss. I’m just glad I didn’t get food poisoning.
Good food, healthy and vegan choices available, although I had the lamb and it was great too. Do haven't some Greek wine with what you eat!
Great food. Lovely people. Would have given 5 stars but there was a mix-up with my daughter's vegan order. Although it was resolved, the rest of the party had largely finished their food by the time her correct order arrived. That said, it was all delicious, we'd recommend it and look forward to visiting again.Food: 5/5
I had 3 different souvlakis. It was full of chips all of them and very little meat. Lamb was undercooked and red inside. Not recommended.
