Bought battered haggis and blood pudding, both with chips. Everything was freshly cooked and made really quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Very homey and cozy environment. You just walk in and grab a table, then order at the coffee bar. Reasonable prices and good food!
Best fish and chips I have eaten so far. Awesome tartare sauce. Perfect portion size for standard fish. Friendly staff Jasmine was such a sweetheart such a bubbly friendly laugh ! told about the gluten free option for my halal requirement. Maria from Ukraine with a lovely smile.
Stopped for a quick coffee and a roll for a late breakfast. Staff were very friendly and the ordering system was quick and effective. Both of our rolls were very tasty and decent value compared to other local outlets. Will definitely be back to try the fish and chips as the portions that passed us looked excellent.Recommended dishesRoll
Stopped here doing the west highland way in winter and was so pleased we did. A really friendly welcome and very helpful staff who guided us to a seat in front of the fire. Due to covid you have to place your order by phone which was explained well and worked out fine. A good plate of hot food followed by a piece of their vegan banana cake which was amazing! Had a chat with the owner as we were about to leave and she showed a great interest in what we were doing. What a great experience, gave us a boost for the extra miles we had to put in.
Great Fish&Chips, very smart online ordering and Covid protection system. The staff was friendly. The prices were fair. Quality of the food was great. I like the log burner and the bird feeders behind the building. I can recommend this place.
Best fish and chips ever. Staff are amazing you get treated like royalty and dogs are allowed too. It's amazing and the portions are big
We try to stop off here for breakfast whenever going up to Scotland. It's a welcome sight when you've been travelling for several hours and need a break. It opens at 07:30 am so timed right. The cafe has been operating for 17 years, and I can understand why. The food is good, priced right, and the surroundings are pleasant. They offer a gluten free menu and are animal friendly. The atmosphere, well, it's reminiscent of places I've been before where the clients are international travellers - backpackers, walkers, cyclists, etc. The place can get busy, which is a good sign and the staff are friendly and professional. They have a website and Facebook page if you want to check them out.
Very nice place to stop off for something to eat. On this occasion we had bacon rolls and lattes. These were the tastiest bacon rolls we have had in a long time, delicious! and considering the location the prices were very reasonable. The staff were polite, prompt and well presented the toilets were clean and tidy. There is ample free parking outside.
Visited twice while at pine trees, both times good food ,with excellent service. All cooked fresh very tasty at reasonable prices. Very clean will visit again when we in the area.
The perfect boost! Stopped here at the end of a particularly tough day on the West Highland Way and was met by the warmest welcome. The food was great and lovely to have something healthy and tasty amongst the camping food/meals. But it was the very kind staff who really made it a highlight of the journey - thank you for the positivity!
