Pretty expensive for maybe 40 minutes. Some of the stuff is pretty cool and interesting though. We got rushed towards the end with the owner turning off TVs to try and get us to hurry up.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoParking spaceNot sure
Absolute heaven for true crime and serial killer enthusiasts. I spent at least 1 and a half hours in here . The Charlie Bronson stuff is bloody amazing. Lots of Charlie’s art. I was blown away, especially by Charlie’s dirty dozen exhibit. Well worth the money and would definitely go again while in Torquay!!! The only downside was that there wasn’t a gift shop.
Too expensive for what it is. The place smells weird and it's literally 3 rooms with some props and on top of it all, there was a dead rat just by the door! Don't waste your time or money.
A extremely interesting place to visit, not the biggest museum but still plenty to see. Plenty of personal items from the Kray Twins, Charles Bronson, The Great Train robbers and loads more to look at. Next time we go down to Torquay love to visit again. Probably not the place for younger children.
Absolutely loved the crime museum and the history kids loved it staff was grate 100% recommend
Amazingly terrible. Very damp, and anything that can mould has done so. Some exhibits have a thick pelt of white mould! It's mostly a shrine to the owner's incarcerated father. If you're terrifically interested in Charles Bronson, funghi, or "exhibits" like a letter from HMP Parkhurst declining to give away any of their own museum's stuff then you might enjoy it. Otherwise I suggest you go to a chippy instead.
I found myself between being fascinated to being disappointed. While there were interesting artifacts and some cases were intriguing. In the end of the day not worth the price.
Was an interesting experience. Some good exhibits. Bit rough and ready. Passed an hour. Shame guy on the door was to interested in watching his phone and seemed a bit highVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This was our second visit to the crime museum. It's a great little gem with some interesting pieces to see and read about. Unfortunately it's exhibits are looking a little tired/damaged now and some area's a little dangerous to walk great train robbery floor area. The Bronson art is incredibly fascinating along with a lot of personal letters and details. There's a lot of reading but there is also a film area with shocking interview reals at the rear of the museum, that's worth watching. I still feel it's worth visiting, but really hope they can spend the off season giving the great artifacts and building some tlc.
Visited here on a whim as we saw the street sign whilst walking down the front, its safe to say we were pleasantly surprised! My wife and I love real crime stuff so we couldn't resist! There is lots to see with plenty of information to back up what you were looking at! Wasnt the largest museum in the world but definitely worth a visit!
