Looking for help from staff? You’ll be lucky. Check out staff? I don’t know what I did to offer him but he wasn’t exchanging pleasantries with me. The staff walk off as soon as you look at them. The quality of the goods is shockingly bad; so it’s probably a good than no one helped me as i would have ended buying something. Thinking of shoplifting? Then I would imagine this shop is ideal because no one is going to speak to you to stop you.
Great place to get bits for your home or as gifts. Everything is so reasonably priced and you could spend hours in there. There is such a vast amount of variety inside. I love going to the Range and I've never left without buying something. Highly recommend it if you've never been.
Great customer service from Bon who works in the backyard. I was looking for a product and there was no staff on the shop floor. I saw him near the entrance of the store room and asked his help. He tried his best to find the product but couldn’t locate it. I was about to leave the store and he came quickly and informed me that he found the product and took me where it was. He is a great example for great customer service and this rating is given purely for his service.Should have staff like him on the shop floor to help customers .
Great shopping experience in the Range Watford. Lots of homeware choice. It's the first time I've been into a Range shop and I will definitely go back. Staff helpful and quite a few till open, so not long waits. It's really good for picture frames and we bought a bin and other housewares. Parking just outside, so perfect.
Lovely items at reasonable prices. great products for all rooms of the house and they are good quality and worth the money. Have got some lovely Xmas decorations and wax melt burners from here. Staff are very unbothered and seem unwilling to help. They bigger off if you walk towards them. Checkout takes a while and don’t think service with a smile exists in this place. Love the items but staff are miserable. Wouldn’t return her again.
Service is terrible, never know which till is open, never enough tills if busy. I try to go early then I don't have to deal with it. I only go to the range for the Iceland section, it's usually well stocked and a good price. Staff are quite rude, they'd rather chat than serve, the store is often messy with stock going out and empty packaging, not the best store to visit, definitely needs a better management system.
I went into the Range yesterday and brought a few bits including a Sanex shower gel. Unfortunately I left this item at the checkout so went back with my receipt today and explained what had happened to a man who seemed to be in charge. He wasn’t helpful at all, he looked in the lost property book!!!!!!! An item sold by them would NOT be handed in as lost property. I even told him who the cashier was as he had asked him to collect the baskets. I was made to feel like a lying thief over a shower gel that cost £2.79. His attitude was abrupt and belittling. I am in my 70’s and don’t like my character being judged by a self important manager who is a bad representative of the company. Not good customer service. I left feeling very down trodden by his attitude and dismissive nature.
All in all it's worth shopping there as there is a great variety of items for sale, but be aware of a few letdowns or disappointments. We found that quite a few items were not priced, so they obviously don't work to a logical system. Also, the checkout queues can be quite long. It has gone somewhat downmarket but it's still worth a visit.
Lovely variety of products, but the person scanning my products was not impressed with me being unable to lift up a soil bag for her to scan. And she definitely wasn't impressed when I've asked if one of her colleagues could help...
The Range has a good range of products with quite a few not priced. There's good parking for the disabled. The mens toilets are terrible, such a bad smell! At the checkouts the cashiers have to call for the next customer from behind a perspex screen and the customer can't see them and often can't hear them. Why on earth they don't have a system like TK Maxx is anyone guess. Anyway, well worth a visit. Incidentally, I think the cafe is a little on the expensive side but try it for yourself.
