Shocking how bad service has become. Was looking for a member of staff to assist me with an item. Couldn't see anyone in the section, other than unattended stock and ladders which is a hazard. When I went to a different section, I went to customer service, who made an announcement for someone to assist. Guess what? Nobody came. So I asked someone close by, who clearly didn't want to help and was a useful as chocolate radiator.nAmazing how shops are under staff, yet there aren't any jobs.
A huge store with ample parking. Clean and tidy inside with mostly well stocked shelves. Had a good range of seasonal stock, although I arrived at the tail end of this so was greatly reduced. The only issue was a large queue at the checkouts on the day and time that I visited.
Parking free 2.5 hours.nNear B&Q, Mac Donald, Costa Coffe, Halfords, Sainsbury.
Fantastic little cafe here with friendly, helpful staff, about six points to charge or plug in phones and laptops, small but good selection of meals, quiet, air condition, great coffee and allow you to do few hours ofl work here!nYou can even ask to sign the register at CS to allow.you to stay in the car PARK IF you're working after the 2-1/2 hours allocated.nSt Albans 'best kept secret'?!
Wow! What a big store with lots of things. Never been to a Range before. Very impressed with the stuff they got in store, from home decorations, ornaments, picture frames to paints, stoves, DIY tools, toys, crafts and the list goes on. Would certainly visit here again. Thanks.
