Disappointing food not a crisp toastie as you would hope and the fries were soft too. Staff were nice though… quite expensive for what it was. Came in just over £22 for two toasted baguettesand two drinks But there are good deals to be had as you can see on the menu.nIt’s accessible for all too which is a positive it just wasn’t a good experience for me. Apart from the nice staff!
Great bargains ,great products. Cafe upstairs to babysit the husband so he doesn't know how much I have spent. Lol!!
Good shop for varied household and some garden items. Reasonably priced. Store let down slightly by confusing aisle system that makes getting to the checkouts a bit like a completing Ninja Warrior gameshow - don't think about nipping in for something quick, buster - you've got to go all the way round first! Otherwise, no complaints!
Cafe ReviewnArrived this morning and my wife and I were surprised to see how cost effective the menu was.nWe ordered a breakfast and a large breakfast.nWhen the food arrived, it was very underwhelming.nnThe bacon was undercooked and cold upon arrival and looked to be something a surgeon would use as a skin graft.nThe eggs were round and you could eat them like a biscuit although appears fried they were dry, again Luke warmnThe black pudding had simply not seen a frying pan or a grill, again Luke warm and really small too.nThere was a mushroom, can't go wrong with a mushroom but they managed it lol.nA small ramekin of beans, definitely heinz.nThe hash browns were neither hashed nor brown, again Luke warm, not at all crisp.nThere were two fat sausages but they were so dense it was like eating cardboard.nnThe meal itself, I'm pretty sure, was all reheat in the microwave from frozen.nFlavourless, Luke warm and depressing.nCoffee was good as always.nnI, as a fat twenty stone bloke who never leaves food on a plate......left the food on the plate.
Good prices for items but very messy laid out. Staff pointed me in rough direction when I needed help, would have been nice to be escorted especially as it was very quiet. Lots of products, branded and non branded, but difficult to find what you need. No A3 paper, confirmed by staff. I needed plain felt tips and whiteboard markers, took 30 minutes going around craft section 3 times before I could find what I needed. Got overcharged at checkout, had to go back into store to sort out refund. Good shop but being impatient, I wanted to get what I wanted and go in 5 minutes, but it took me 45 minutes overall. Tescos around the corner would be quicker and just as cheap for the items I needed.
