Normally we have good experience shopping at The Range. But today was upset by bad pricing and misleading prices on the shelf. Not so much the money but the attitude at the checkout. I wanted to purchase 4 storage boxes code 080845 clearly priced on the shelf at 2 for £8 instead of    £5.99 each. When I was charged the each price I told the cashier it was wrong. She replied sharply that that is the price. I said not according to the shelf price. I went back to the shelf with the cashier and she said it was only on the geo range but the price was marked on every shelf. She took one of the tickets back to the till and pointed out the very small print the offer ended on the 29th of May and said it was my fault for not reading it! I said why is it still priced up after on sale two weeks after that date. She said we don't have the staff ! I was not offered no apology, just only made to take the blame.nSteve.

Always worth a visit. The hard working staff are lovely and helpful, the store has everything you could ever need for house and garden for any season and Christmas stock has to be seen to be believed. Photos of York store but similar to Pontefract

Great store with a wide range of goods. We're new to the area so if course, been here loads recently.nnThe staff are great. Really helpful when I'm struggling to find stuff.nnThe prices are excellent especially now with the January sales but you may need to rummage around for things as you can find the odd bits that are scratched and improper.nnFree parking outside and I didn't see any restrictions for time.

A large store with a large parking lot, two floors, and items that are properly maintained. I absolutely love it and recommend it for shopping.
