First time visiting Wales and my stay at the hotel didn't disappoint. Lovely clean room with all amenities really comfy beds and lovely and quiet. Included in price was a lovely full English which was catered to my needs being gluten free . Staff very friendly and helpful would definitely stay again thank you.Rooms: 5/5
Motorcycle trip to Wales, first time at the Black Lion and will definitely stay again. Great welcome and able to park the bikes in the barn as being Wales it was raining. Room was great with a big radiator to dry the kit. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent too. 100% recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Had a meal here last night and wanted to share a bit of feedback. The service and staff were lovely and very helpful. The food I have to say was exceptional, I had the short rib it was absolutely delicious and I would recommend it to anyone. 5 . I would like to thank all the staff that served me and give a huge shoutout to the chef it made a very pleasurable meal. Thanks once again. Simon

Another stellar performance and a wonderful new menu. A great welcome and fabulous staff as always. £15.95 for two courses seems a good deal.

Food fantastic little bit pricey ,rooms are really nice warm ,shower was good hot ,plenty of parking ,shoo ,sainsbury/coop in walking distance in all 10/10 ..highly recommendRooms: 5/5
Welcoming staff and comfy beds. We stayed the night and had food at this hotel. Water pressure was very poor, I was on the top floor so appreciate that doesn't help but it took a good ten minutes to get any hot water from the dribbling shower an electric shower would help. I also wouldn't recommend this place for vegetarians - the vegetarian curry could barely be called a curry, some chopped tomatoes with carrot, peas and a few kidney beans. Otherwise again, very comfy and clean, and kind staff.
