Lovely local pub with excellent choice of Ales, cocktails and food. Love the conservatory with gazebo garden.
Very pleasant service from the chatty female member of staff who has good knowledge of Wetherspoon's pubs.nThe food was okay, and the beer was below par. However, this may have been because it was only around 11 am.nPlenty of light in this one and an impressive outdoor seating area.nWould definitely return.
Popular pub , average pub food with variety. This chain had a lot of branch everywhere and very value for money. The one we go this time had a big glass ceiling seating area which is very nice during day time I believe.
A cute little place tucked away in East Barnet was recommend by a friend. It's a beautiful property with both inside and outside seating.nnFood service was fast and portion size good. Quality of the food was top notch.
Came back after not visiting for about a year. My friend and I ordered separately on the app at 6:55. Our drinks arrived quickly and we waited for food. By 7:40, it still hadn’t arrived so I went to find out what the waiting time was. There was plenty of space and by no means was it ‘busy’. I was met with a bit of an affronted waiter who said he would check and then came back with ‘no we didn’t get the ticket’. I said that the drinks had arrived from both of our seperate orders, so the ticket had clearly gone through. He then wanted to see the receipt on my phone understandable. He walked away and then at 8:05 the cheesy chips arrived. They were cold & had what looked like a teaspoon of some hardened cheese. My friends meal was also cold and hard. Sent these back and waited a further 5 or 10 minutes. No refund or free drink both of us were only on the soft drinks! offered and very minimal apology. The food then came back and was not replaced at all- it had clearly been put in a microwave because it was now just soggy but at least hot… The chicken my friend ordered was blackened having presumably been plopped back into a fryer. The waiter did look rather hot and bothered so it’s not to say he was being rude, rather just a bit dismissive as he seemed preoccupied. I know it’s a spoons and not exactly top quality dining, but to wait an hour and ten minutes for a bog standard meal, only for it to turn up cold and then a reheated slop, isn’t exactly great.
