"The Queenstown Story, an interactive, interesting and emotive look at the story of Irish Emigration from this port. Over 3 million people left from here, mainly to North America but also to the British Overseas colonies such as the West Indies and Australia. Our exhibition has many great stories of individual emigrants and we also cover the story of both Titanic and Lusitania and their links with this town. Walk in the footsteps of our emigrant ancestors in this beautifully restored Victorian railway station. Fully accessible and also with a café and gift shops. Celebrating 25 years in 2018. Audio guides available in French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Chinese and Hebrew.Last entry to Exhibition one hour before closing."

Really interesting learning about where the Titanic and the other 2 boats were build. The movie is nothing compared to the real thing. In fact the movie as false. A must visit if you want to learn more about the Titanic, Oceaniac and Brittanic. The little gift shop is also intresting. Nice memorabilia to send to loved ones. The Port is home to navy ships and crew ships. Easy access to the train station. But beware the children can be kinda rude around these areas.
Each person is given a and with a name on it so you can see if you survived your ship journey or not.
Highly recommended to see. Super nice and friendly staff. They have lectures in various languages.
Fantastic town. Great info. Wish I could stay longer.
Lovely city. Must see if you visit Cork county.
This was a surprisingly interesting and wonderful visit. Loads of history on the Titanic and Irish immigration. Wonderful Titanic replicas. I especially enjoyed the area where you could do an online search for possible relatives dating back to the 1600's. The Cafe and gift shop were nice as well.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

A small but worthwhile dedicated Titanic experience that is brought to life in a very holistic and inclusive manner. Each entrant gets to be someone who was onboard which is a clever way of engaging everyone.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
