This was a great place to eat. Not quite sure if it is more a restaurant than a pub but very nice. Food was lovely and the styling has a hint of ski chalet about it. It is next to a canal so ask for a canal side table. Looks like it has a good sized function room. Easy access. We'll worth a visit. Staff were super friendly too.

It was very expensive for the style of food, but the quality is fine. Service is very friendly and helpful. Catered for a party of 10 with children, so that was done really well. Staff engaged with the children, and nothing was too much trouble. Very nice pub. Great range of drinks
I visited this place with my parents for a meal and it was lovely. We arrived at Lock Cottage and decided to go to the pub for dinner and there was 25% off on Mondays, which was a bonus. The food was lovely, the waitress was really nice and the place had a great atmosphere. There was a free car park and it was beside the canal.
First time here and our table was in the marquee area. It was a lovely atmosphere almost like sitting outside with the artificial grass carpet and hanging foliage. The seats had cushions and faux fur throws and fan heaters situated around the area provided heat.nGreat choice of food on menu and service was just the right amount of attention.nWould definitely recommend a visit.
