One of Mayfair's finest. This is a proper pub but remember you're still in Mayfair. I prefer the downstairs to their more formal upstairs dining room: you get all the goodness of their kitchen which is remarkably good but have the relaxed atmosphere of a pub. My favourite? Probably the roast bone marrow...
The Punchbowl is a nice cozy spot for drinks, happy hour or a nice cozy dinner. All of the dishes are very tasty. My favorite dish was the fish and chips here and you get a very generous portions. I would make a reservation if you have a big group for dinner.
Pandy will treat you right. Sources some great fare and all goes well with a pint of Punch bowl 1750 ale. Proper fish and chips in the pub.
