We stayed here as my father in laws wake was being held here. From the minute we arrived the staff were great and very attentive. We had lunch which was a shared Camembert then grilled cheese & onion sandwiches which came with chips. It was presented lovely & was tasty. We then booked in to our room . We were in room 1. It was spacey with everything we needed eg ironing board iron hairdryer tea& coffee. The bed was very comfortable the room was very clean. We had breakfast the next morning which consists of cereals ,toast selection of jams& juices. We ordered from the menu and chose full English which was cooked perfectly. A selection of teas were available as was coffee. Katie was my hero as she went out of her way to find me a fan. Katie Paul Reece& the lovely man who served us lunch are a credit to Natalie. Natalie is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The priory has a lovely atmosphere and I would absolutely recommend it. I couldn’t find fault with anything & would definitely stay again x
We stayed one night as a couple on a little tour of the Cotswolds, but we wished we had stayed longer. On arrival, we were greeted by one of the Proprietors who made us feel right at home. We had a twin room that was nice and spacious, the beds were lovely and comfortable; there was tea, coffee, and TV as you would expect. The en-suite bathroom was roomy and had both a bath and shower. After a pleasant walk around Tetbury, we adjourned to the the front facing beer garden and enjoyed a couple of pints of local beer note: the beer garden can be very busy in good weather. We had booked a table in the restaurant and were glad that we did as the room quickly filled up; there were a couple of tables free but only just. We had a really good night sleep. In the morning, we had an excellent breakfast followed by an easy checkout. There is quite a spacious free car park at the side of the Priory Inn. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms: We had a ground floor twin room that was nice and spacious Room 1; we had asked for a twin room due to a medical problem of mine. The beds were lovely and comfortable; there was tea, coffee, and TV as you would expect. The en-suite bathroom was roomy and had both a bath and shower. Food & drinks: The evening meal was pretty much what you would expect from a decent food led pub environment; there was a good menu choice for each course and what we had was tasty and well cooked. Likewise, there was a very good breakfast choice, all cooked to perfection.
The food is good, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. There's an open fire and an unusual layout so you don't rub elbows with the next table whilst still being in the room. You can dress casual and still have a nice meal. Not cheap however portion sizes were generous. Car park is small but free and to the side of the building. You'll probably need to book a table. Recommend.
We booked for a last minute Sunday roast. The food tasted fantastic and really good portions, at a competitive price. The staff were super friendly and very efficient. 100% recommend
Lovely pub, very nice rooms, friendly staff. Food was excellent, one of the best Sunday roasts I have had in a long time! Monday night l had the Thai green chicken curry, it was delicious! Tetbury is a lovely village, will certainly return in the future. Rooms: Room was very large, comfortable bed, plenty of storage. Nearby activities: The village is very pretty, interesting shops and more good pubs. King Charles's residence Highgrove is nearby, the gift shop is in the village, and the farm shop a couple of miles away. Food & drinks: Hotel has a good selection of beers and wines. Food was excellent, wonderful Sunday roasts, all the food we had was lovely, Thai green chicken curry, Sirloin steak, and the fish and chips.

Excellent food backed up with friendly and efficient service. The dining area is spacious and well laid out with a lovely fireplace situated towards the center of the restaurant. It’s now our go to place for a casual dinner out. Highly recommended.
Only stayed the one night Perfect place to stay en route. Beautiful area and this was a lovely find. Relaxed and polite. Lovely owners. Will definitely return.
It is difficult to find a venue with parking in Tetbury but the Priory has it. Took my Mum for lunch on Saturday before Mothering Sunday. My Mum hates being taken out as the restaurant has usually run out of what she wants to eat; not here! Everything was perfect! Thank you team Priory for making our lunch memorable.Service: 5/5
