Absolutely gorgeous pub! Staff are amazing, friendly and easy to talk to! Great variety of drinks at a ridiculously cheap price! Food is lovely, and also well priced! Dog friendly pub throughout, and absolutely my favourite spot, a definite must-go place here in Devon, and Ilfracombe! Very accomodating and vwry friendly
Lovely pub of ancient origin, c.1290 80 years older than next door. Very welcoming and has a enclosed beer garden out back.
Cute little pub with cheap food. Recomend if you are looking for a burger and chips. Can highly recommend the Chicken bites!

Dog friendly pub close to Ilfracombe harbour with an outside space. A no frills traditional pub with a pool table & plenty of seating.
Ancient pub with an enclosed wishing well inside. An unusual L shaped layout and a lovely atmosphere. Smiling happy staff and some good live music
We have been there a year ago and felt it's gone downhill. It has a limited menu and the pininis are bland and over priced. One of the real ales tasted of vinegar and had to be thrown away. The other was just ok. Inside the pub wasn't particularly inviting.Food: 1/5
Had great night here proper pub, live band , great staff. I didn't eat but plenty of people did so must be good.Service: 5/5
We had to wait 50 minutes for our meal with no warning. When it came it was probably one of the worst meals I have had. No cheese in my ham and cheese omelette, very soggy chips and the sausages were pretty disgusting. There was no apology from the landlord.Food: 1/5
A group of around 10 of us stumbled upon this lovely little pub, hoping for a good night out in Ilfracombe The landlord soon advised that we would be stuck there due to transportation issues after a certain time and even attempted to see if he could arrange a taxi for us all We stayed for a few drinks and a few games of pool The landlord was very accommodating Drinks prices are very reasonable The pub has so much charm If you are in Ilfracombe, you really should pop in I hope this Pub will be there for many more years to come Thanks for having us The stagg party in kilts
