Had dinner tonight with family for a birthday treat. And it very much was a treat. Food as always was excellent but what really set the evening off was the service. You couldn't wish for nicer staff who went out of their way to make the visit memorable. Five stars isn't enough! Have been using The Primrose for over 45 years and never fails to please but tonight was just extra special. Thanks to everyone.
Stopped here on the off chance of a table. Best decision I made that day!!! Food was delicious Christmas Dinner for me. Kids loved theirs too pizza and chips A small fish and chips. Desserts were also had and they were lovely. I'll definitely be back and this time I'm bringing reinforcements lol. The place was really busy but the food was excellent which can tend to suffer in some restaurants when busy. The service was very good with regular enquiries if we needed anything. Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but they sounded delicious Kid-friendliness: Good food for kids. My two cleared their plates which can be a struggle at times. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables available downstairs
Many thanks again to Kevin and all the staff who helped make our Christmas special again . We choose to have three takeaway Xmas dinners with all the trimmings , collected on Christmas eve, and upon arrival we we greeted with the usual festive cheer . As always the food was delicious and fabulous value for money. Keep up the great work guys , we'll be back again soon .
A fabulous local restaurant. I really enjoyed my steak. It was cooked to perfection. My wife enjoyed the salted chilli chicken. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: My 2 kids were welcomed with colouring in pages and a great kids menu!
food good Didnt have a booking but got a table but told we needed to be out within the hour as table was booked later we thought service might have been quicker but presentation and food quality excellentFood: 5/5
Called in just on the off chance as we hadn't booked. The staff kindly let us have a table for a few hours as they where waiting in bookings arriving. Service was great, food was amazing and a lovely relaxed atmosphere about the place.

Nice place but needs to understand what cocktails they are serving. Wife ordered a non alcoholic mojito and received an alcoholic bramble. I wasn't there but heard she insisted it was a mojito. My wife is pregnant lol. Attention to detail with the booze needed
