If only you could taste the pictures, you would be able to tell how PERFECT Samantha's wedding cakes are. We didn't give her much to go off, but she managed to capture a dream I didn't even know I had. Seeing our wedding cake was one of the things I was most excited about, as it was one of the things I had had the least involvement with. It did not disappoint! I am totally in awe of the sugar flowers, they are absolutely incredible - Samantha is so talented! The cake itself was delicious - each tier had a different flavour and all of our guests wanted to try each flavour because they were all SO GOOD. The only leftovers we had was the one piece that we asked the caterers not to serve so we could stick it in our freezer for our first child's christening! Thank you Samantha, so much.
If you're looking for a wedding cake look no further. Samantha's eye for detail and ability to create incredible cakes speaks for itself. Our cake was everything we could have dreamed off. Samantha did a great job at bringing our concept to life. It tasted incredible and looked amazing. We opted for a sumptuous carrot cake, a delicious rhubarb and custard layer and finished it with cherry bakewell. It went down a treat, and our guests did not stop speaking about the cake. It was a real showstopper! You will not be disappointed if you chose to work with Samantha and The Pretty Cake Company. Every cake is unique, and the service is second to none. Samantha made our DREAM wedding cake and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! Samantha is a true artist, but not only do her cakes look amazing, they taste phenomenal! The only issue we had was choosing which flavour as they were all incredible! Our wedding plans changed multiple times due to ever changing COVID restrictions, but Samantha was incredibly kind, patient and easy going and with us every step of the way as our plans changed from one month to the next. We ended up having 2 tiers, as opposed to the original plan of 3 tiers but Samantha was still very happy to work with us and travel to our new location which was quite a distance from the original planned venue. I'm SO glad we found Samantha, if you are looking for a truly magnificent cake then she is your girl!
Samantha made our '3 tier, semi-naked, wedding cake' and it was an absolute triumph. It looked fantastic and tasted wonderful. It was, in all honesty, the best wedding cake ever. We had a ceremony booked just as the pandemic struck and had to re schedule 4 times. Samantha accommodated these changes without any complaint and when the actual date did happen she set everything up. We wholeheartedly recommend The Pretty Cake Company
Samantha made the most amazing cake for our wedding. Unfortunately we were unable to sample any of the cakes before the wedding as we were away but after speaking to Samantha on the phone, she filled us with confidence. She was professional, friendly and offered advice about flavours. We went with vanilla with white choc and passionfruit, rhubarb and custard and lemon. All three were delicious and our guests continue to comment on how tasty the cakes were. The rhubarb and custard was a particular guest favourite! The whole process was stress-free; Samantha kept in contact and delivered exactly what we asked for. Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you!
Amazing wedding cake, exactly what I was hoping for. Samantha was both friendly and professional from first contact through to the big day! The cake looked and tasted fabulous. Everyone has commented how good it was! I can highly recommend The Pretty Cake Company.
Samantha did our three tier wedding cake at the beginning of the year and we are still talking about it. She was very responsive, sent us samples, on the day was there, delivered and decorated the cake with no fuss or hassle and at the end of the night, we had to hide it from guests who were hell bent on finishing it. I cannot emphasise how delicious the sponges were...and we're really picky with food. We went with carrot, walnut and coffee and vanilla. All sponges were moist and flavourful. Our favourite was the coffee and walnut, literally like eating tiramisu. Definitely use her services, you won't regret it.
