Very rude and wants to know everything that’s in my parcel.
Felt like an interrogation, reminded me of an airport checkin process. in future I will be posting elsewhere

The staff other than the owner work with an attitude. One lady with the long highlighted hair has never failed to be biased towards her service.  She charged me £2.85 for a packet with a small mascara in it stating it had to go as a parcel. Other post offices in grays and southend charged me 95p for the same packet.  She then refused to give me proof of postage, making a mockery out of me in front of all the queuing customers stating I needed to state 'certificate of postage' or just write the postcode on the receipt myself.  Adding salt to the hurt she added that the other lady she had carried on serving had no problems over 5 years.  That lady also asked for 'proof of postage' and surprisingly she was actually given a slip with the address on and not asked to handwrite the address on herself.  Why is all I want to know?  They need self service at this post office like Southend, and approachable, pleasant staff.
