We had a wonderful lunch on a very busy Saturday. We had booked one of the Adventure Shacks, & we enjoyed fabulous food & excellent service, away from the hubbub, in lovely peaceful surroundings. Would totally recommend this! The decoration was beautiful, the heating efficient & the blue tooth speaker a great addition to create the right ambience. The only tiny thing that might improve the experience, in our humble opinion, is a long seat pad on each bench for warmth & comfort, but this is a tiny nit-pick! We will definitely be back again soon, & look forward to trying the accommodation too. Food & drinks: Wide variety of food, something for everyone. Good sized portions - starters & puddings were a manageable size. Delicious, & even though we were sat outside the main restaurant area, the service was excellent & the food all arrived piping hot. Noteworthy details: Book one of the three Adventure Shacks for up to 8 people! Parking: Lots of parking, but the driveway is a little awkward to turn into if you come along the smaller side roads rather than the A274.
Visited here meeting some friends, the restaurant is lovely, with lots of outside space would be smashing on a lovely summers day! but it's kinda in the middle of nowhere so best to drive there. The staff were very attentive, and the food menu extensive without being too much/overwhelming. I had a pie which was lush, and other dishes on the table including lamb and a calzone and with all plates pretty much empty. Desserts were good too. Think for a bread sharer, main, dessert, drinks and teas came to about £30pp. Is somewhere I would definitely visit again if I'm in the Maidstone area.
Fabulous pub, with lovely and varied food. Staff is always polite and friendly. Outside facilities are lovely in the summer. Has electric car charging although not always working. The only downside is the bad acoustics in the main restaurant...very large open space and when full it is very hard to hear your conversation as the space amplifies all the other voices...needs some professional acoustic treatment. Other than that...an awesome place for food and drinks!
Nice country pub. Came in for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The service was pretty fast. The food was good. The decoration and ambiance was really nice. I will return in the spring summer as they have a nice outdoor area and the prices are reasonable.
Imaginative, varied, and extensive menu. Contemporary decor around a theme. Great ambience. Staff professional, cheerful, and helpful. Food thoughtfully prepared and presented and delicious. Highly recommended. Advance booking advised to avoid disappointment!Food: 5/5
Had a delicious meal there last night with my granddaughter. Very impressed with how people who have food intolerances and preferences are catered for. I ate from the vegan choices and the food was excellent. Service good too. Served by Nathan.
On the basis of their turmeric latte, I liked it and would visit again. I'd like to try again, because friends keep telling me their food menu is good, I wasn't impressed prior to this but willing to try more from the menu. The tables are too close together making it very noisy. Lucky to get a parking space. I'll walk next time.Food: 3/5
Dog friendly pub with good food and drinks. We went with two dogs and had a nice relaxing lunch in the garden. We've also been here for quick pizza meals as they have the best in the area. Plenty of space for parking.Food: 5/5
Wildly expensive sour dough pizza burned black on the base. Some blistering on surface acceptable but coupled with base harsh. Hard to cut with knife. Soapy prawns. Thin topping. Ot nice at all. Spare ribs OK. Service good, staff friendly. Offered to change pizza but said they all like that. Plenty of parking, EV chargers in car park. Design and atmosphere nice. Manager good with customers. Watch out for optional service charge tucked away in small print of bill.
Worst pizza in the Western world. Crust burned black, so hard you couldn't saw it with a serrated knife. Mediocre topping. Soap flavoured shrimp. £3.20 for an apple juice. Watch out for 12.5% service charge tucked discretely at bottom of your bill. It is discretionary so make your decision. On the up side waitresses trying hard and manager is customer orientated. EV chargers in large car park. Toilets clean. Fish and chips look OK.
