Wonderful location in Portree just a tiny bit to the edge of town which is perfect and quiet. Lovely view from room 6 and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing I would mention is the shower is quite small so might be awkward if you are a bigger frame but we managed just nicely. It was a great base for our road trip around Skye.Rooms: 5/5
5 star beer though only tried Red and Gold Skye ales. Good service though smiles were few. It was very busy. Chick pea burger and Cajun chicken burger, both with chips. Could have had more salad, the chips were good. Both burgers were good though the chicken was v salty.Service: 4/5
Great location central to restaurants and shops. Very clean house keeping staff cleaned rooms daily expertly . Rooms were a good size comfy bed , shower was good nice pressure to it. Breakfast was nice berry waffle highly recommended. Staff were friendly. Nice modern hotel would definitely stay againRooms: 4/5
This well located hotel in Portree has everything you may need. Room was nice and comfy and staff very friendly. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of options between pastries of cooked dishes. We will definitely return in a future trip.
There is no where better than this hotel in Portree! Despite being incredibly clean, having comfortable beds and a nice restaurant/pub and breakfast. The real stars of the show are the staff. Every single team member is polite, friendly and always smiling. I have been in town for work a few times now and the staff always seem to be enjoying life, are nice to each other and are always willing to help customers as much as possible. I even left my expensive headphones in the room and the team responded really fast and helped to organise a mail service of them within hours. I really can't stress how amazing the staff are and I will certainly be coming back.
Great small hotel right in the centre of town so only minutes from anything. Bus 'station' large shelter and two 'platforms' right outside. Food good overall and prices ok, with only gripe having to pay extra for chips/potatoes for several dishes: I think only Battered fish and Burger came with. Room was well equipped and comfortable however decoration required. Stairwell can be noisy and mobile signal sketchy. Free WiFi has good strength however. Staff were excellent.
Does the job, but definitely no frills. We booked the “cosy double room” and boy, was it cosy. We could hardly walk around the bed it was so small. On top of that, the room was on a lean and the carpets seemed crusty. The bathroom was tiny, although good water pressure in the shower. The lobby and hallways smelt like a restaurant kitchen old grease? which I guess isn’t too surprising as it’s above a restaurant but off-putting nonetheless. The real saving grace was the breakfast - wonderful to-order meals recommend the waffles and buffet of continental assortments. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would stay here again.
We had a fantastic dinner here, the mains are all excellent and the dessert was delicious. Everything was top notch. Make sure you have reservations on the weekend or you will be turned away.Service: 5/5
