Had a lovely first visit to the spa and included some length-swimming in the pool. Hospitable staff. Bring a 20p coin refundable for a locker, and bring your own towels. Three female-only days and three male-only days. Two steam rooms, three graduating warm rooms, a sauna, cold plunge pool, showers, hair-dryers and recliners in the Relaxation area. Note that it closes for cleaning at a specific time in the afternoon.
2nd visit yesterday, this is not your luxury spa with relaxing music and bathrobes. It’s basic it’s clean it’s got a couple of steam rooms and large sauna. It’s definitely has more of a locker room vibe, lots of banter and a bit noisy in places but great value for money and with price as a major factor it’s deserving a 4 star.
Unbelievably rude North African staff, crummy facilities, strangely smelling and poorly lit. Gulag-level service standards by mostly young ‘hood teenagers with lots of swag but zero professional training. Ridiculously overpriced for what they offer at almost £30 a pop. Impossible to book anything on the website and no one ever picks up the phone when you call them, the reception staff apparently always glued to their mobile phones. They also won’t give any coins necessary to use the lockers. No towels any longer provided either. Such a horrendously mismanaged and poorly maintained place despite a lot of potential as a historic building.
Sandi is absolutely phenomenal! Her energy in that room was unbelievably relaxing. I had a very pleasant experience and shall be back to see her.
Went for open day, didn't have 20p had 10p or 50p for the lockers and they don't give change so couldn't use the spa. Not going to come back as it didn't look worth it old, dirty, etc. I'm glad I didn't have to pay £30 as it was open day.
Overall great option for sauna, steam and cold. If you like the hot/cold treatment this place has everything you need to relax and get a little time from the city bustle. There are lockers for your personal stuff just bring .20p
I read the reviews after booking and was nervous about what to expect but decided to keep the booking....and I am so happy I did!! The staff was friendly and showed me around the area when I arrived. I also learned that I could use the large pool as part of my booking and they helped me reserve a spot. It's definitely not a luxury spa, but it's a perfect escape from the city life, especially on a gloomy day. I will definitely be back!
Cannot register online, as it says I already have an account, but cannot get a password reset link, or find any evidence of a pre-existing account in my inbox. Cannot send an enquiry without an account. No one picks up the phone after several attempts throughout the day.
Not very clean or well kept. The management is awful. The staff are inappropriate and make moves on the female clients. I don’t feel safe here.
Well that was a creepy experience!! These ancient baths are stunning aesthetically tiled green and cream with a cold plunge pool, art deco with gold statue, however it’s dark and dirty …there’s a really quite shocking unpleasant unclean smell about the place and it’s just got a rather off vibe with odd characters swanning about… quite surreal like being in an unsettling psychological horror movie . If only they freshened it up and disinfected it it would be an absolute Westminster jewel!! It’s like it’s trapped in time like an abandoned old mansion…i didn’t feel very clean on leaving infact I think someone mentioned bugs. It needs a serious deep clean and more staff. Felt like I might catch something Westminster council need to step up the art deco building feels totally sad and uncared for.
