A great swimming pool. Very wide, so there is plenty of space in the adults only area + lanes. Very bright too + clean. A great changing area and decent showers.
Delicious food the swimming is so nice but the changing rooms need new locks and cleaning more often
Visited the cafe and they were fab, very accommodating for a toddler and myself, who is allergic to gluten and milk.
I had my son’s 10th birthday party here on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. I went for the large inflatable assault course party in the main pool for up to 50 people. We had the whole place to ourselves and they did a swimming test on all the kids before we began. It stretched from the shallow to the deep end and had 5 lifeguards on duty. 2 in the other half of the pool with the large floats, one at the start of the assault course, one at the end and one travelling along with the kids. Kids had fun and adults too as we all had a go. An hour was plenty of time for everyone to have multiple goes there were 23 kids in the water and 6 adults. Really good value for money and my son had one of the best parties ever.
Pods are great for swimming, my wife goes regular and she prefers it to Brigg and others.nOnly thing is it's a shame the gym wasn't the best. It's okay for basic stuff but I wish it was better. I drop the wife off and head to the gym elsewhere and then come pick her up. It would be easier to goto the pods gym while she's swimming.nI also donate Blood here too and it's a place that's well set out in the sports hall for giving Blood.
