Thoroughly effective covid measures in place. Amazing Christmas decorations as usual, great staff and fab food. So sad that they, like so many restaurants at the moment, haven't got the volume of customers that they deserve.

Meals have always been good here. But last time it was okay. Food wasn't as hot as it should be hence the 3 stars.

First visit here but it won't be our last. Great value for money,would advise you to book as its busy. Our garlic King prawns starter were delicious and our steaks were perfectly cooked and the desserts heavenly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well done.

You must visit the plough inn we had an excellent meal it was a carvery on our first visit , it was so good we returned for  another 2 nights we had the Christmas menu  , great choices and massive portions , friendly staff , it looked amazing loved all the Christmas decorations . We will definitely return again

This is a beautiful pub in a tranquil setting and we have visited several times. However, our visit yesterday was so bad we left without having our dessert. We waited over 30 minutes for drinks, then another 10 minutes to have our orders taken and our medium steaks were so overcooked they were inedible.

Beautiful food, beautiful building and location, decorated so well for Christmas and the prices are so good! Especially for the quality of the food. No question about it, you have to go!

Amazing value for money. The carvery is the best for miles. Always get a generous serving of meat.  Definitely worth a visit.
