We rented the 12 person pod here for a birthday celebration. The pod was brilliant, it had a music system set up that you can sync your phone to. Also has led lights. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. Overall a great experience.
We arranged a pensioners Christmas meal and show for 30 people on the 6th December 2022 Service amazing Food amazing Northing to much trouble at all Thank you to all the wonderful staff Beautiful room warm and comfortable thank you again
We stayed in a pod for a birthday meal. Really good food, one of the best mixed grills I’ve had. Everyone else enjoyed theirs too
A decent sized pub with the main bar to the front and various rooms out towards the back. There's a large car park out back when they don't have the marquee up for special events. We had a very nice lunch with generous portions and good beer Bass and some Tim Taylor. When the marquee is not in use, there is easy access to the pub for wheelchair users. Then that option goes, it is just possible to squeeze a normal size chair through the tight double door at the front, when wheeled backwards.
Lovely little pub, the staff are always welcoming and was happy to help with any requests. Food was delicious. The menu has changed since the last time I went but still a good choice. Will come back soon.
We’ve just been to this absolutely lovely pub. The food was fantastic and the service was brilliant. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in ages and managed to get a table with ease thanks to the lovely lady behind the bar. Highly recommend for a cosy pub lunch.
Went here for a mothers day meal with all my family. Everyone was so happy with the food and thd pod we hired outside thank you. I ordered the mix grill and was outstanding. .
Amazing! 5 stars isn’t enough. This place is totally awesome. We’ve rented out the pods a couple of times for a young male with ASD who does not cope in busy pubs. The fact that we can actually enjoy a meal safely and with ease is beyond exceptional. To top this off, the food is delicious, the staff are fantastic and the pods are beautiful. I do not have a single bad fault to say. Thank you so much for enabling this to be so easy.
Whilst down for a show at the NEC, we ate here on Friday and Saturday evenings - we were made to feel right at home, the girls couldn't have been more pleasant, accommodating and attentive. The food was absolutely lovely on both occasions. I wish this could be my local!
A fine original public house. Great food served at lunch and dinner served. Avery good selection of real ales served, which are changed regularly. With a nice warm cosy real fire, to keep the winter chill out. Very good.
