Story

We have been open for just over two years and in that short time have established a loyal customer base, an excellent reputation among locals and tourists alike and great feedback overall. We have also won a number of awards and accolades including Brighton's "Best Cocktail Bar" in the Brighton and Hove Food Festival awards, reviews in a number of local and national news outlets as well as a nod in The Sunday Times Best Bars in Britain.

Our staff are dedicated to friendly and hospitable service with absolutely no pretence, they are there to make your evening enjoyable and memorable. The bar is centrally located just off of the Old Steine, so there really is no excuse not to do yourself a favour and drop by for a drink or three surrounded by beautiful décor, amazing drinks and truly friendly people. We are table service only, so you can relax and we will come to you to fulfill your drinking requirements.

We are available for bookings, small and large. However due to the size of the venue weekend bookings are limited in group size. Any group over 4 in size is advised to book ahead at weekends to avoid disappointment and to allow us to provide the best quality drinks and service we can. Please also note: We don't take individuals at the weekend.

We walked in no booking staff checked a large booking was coming to see if they could accommodate our party of 5 and luck was on our side! Good cocktails we had lovely Expresso Martinis with a twist, passion fruit martini, margaritas and long island ice tea. All mixed lovely and atmosphere was chilled thanks team. Advise you book to avoid disappointment

Awesome little bar with great friendly team, very welcoming and the cocktails were amazing. The smoked almonds were very addictive. The PP Espresso Martini was the best I’ve had in years. Cool interior, very cosy/speakeasy vibe down the back, jazzier feel at the front, will definitely go back again when in Brighton.

Loving this place. The staff are really passionate about their trade and the cocktails are fantastic. Best bloody Mary that I have treated as well. Great place with a lovely atmosphere.

Came here for a few drinks on a Saturday night. Was a lovely place with unique drinks. We booked ahead and got a table upstairs. When they seated us around 7pm there was nobody else there but it did fill out towards the end and had a nice vibe.

Been here a few times, it’s a must visit if you enjoy cocktails! Great atmosphere and fantastic service, really friendly. Highly recommend.

Great drinks, especially the Flight of the Buffalo, but many cocktails were a touch "wet". Also we were cramped up in a small space for 6 people which would be tight for 4......  Shame it was so dark inside so my photos are not so good

Lovely bar, great cocktails and music and atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and fun. Our first drinks were slow to come and staff gave us a discount and recognised this. The thing was that the rest of the service wasn't great which is why I dropped a star. The staff were lovely but we had to ask them to order second drink and felt a bit forgotten. Would recommend though as everything  else was good

Haven’t been back in over 5 years but it still has that same incredible quality of service, drinks and vibe. My personal favourite Martini in Brighton and their signature menu is phenomenal! If you have a chance to catch the plum & tonka bean Negroni special, get down and try it quick! Special mentions to our server, Georgia and the bartender Aiden. Photo of the cocktail is a delicious twist on a Vesper, the New Man Sea.

Fabulous cocktail bar. Classy with a cool vibe. Just a stone’s throw from the beach.  When I visited they were busy so initially got a seat right at the back which was fine but a little cramped. When a nicer table became available the waiter came and found us and asked if we’d like it … we didn’t even ask! What service   Cocktails are fantastic, beautifully crafted and very interesting. And all the staff I met were lovely. Highly recommend a visit

Excellent place. We stopped by on a whim and luckily there was a table spare, next time will make sure to book in advance. The decor and atmosphere was fantastic. The staff so friendly and polite. Drinks and cheese board delicious -  very well priced too. Even the background music was perfectly fitting. Will absolutely return and recommend to all
