Lovely venue for a Doctor Who Event but the the organising of the event was a bit chaotic because of too many people. It was an enjoyable event though
I went to see my granddaughter's performance in her Dance School's production of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The production was brilliant and extremely well done to everybody involved, kids, teachers, technical staff, admin staff, and particular shout out to wardrobe whose costumes were out of this world. The venue itself- could be better signposted from the car park, not a lot of legroom where I was in the stalls and seats very low - difficult for people with mobility problems. The bar couldn't take cards and you had to have the right money for any purchases. But overall, nice size of venue, although at £25 a ticket, bit expensive for a kids show, especially for families.
Its a quaint cosy theatre in the main run by volunteers who are very friendly & helpful. There is not a bad seat to be had..it was great being able to go to the panto with our family again this year & we are looking forward to seeing more performances throughout the year ahead
Great active playhouse. This is what regional theatre is about. Watching your friends perform in an excellent performance or seeing something you didn't expect. Long live such establishments life blood of communities.
First time at this place and if they do another Dr Who event this year here, I'll be back.
Went to Eagles tribute band Talon was excellent 22nd Jan. Great musicians and enjoyed the show. One BIG issue was the air con was blowing in row K and towards the back. People had to wear their coats. The large front doors open if anyone steps near then, then any warmth drifts out, wasting money and heat. Staff were informed, who passed the message to the floor Manager at the interval. Nothing changed, we were frozen. The tickets are not cheap and I expect to feel comfortable.
No photos allowed during the performance of the Siegeris Ballet school's Over the Rainbow, based on the Wizard of Oz. Best yet.
Great staff couldn't do enough for you well run event in a beautiful traditional theatre setting
Great venue to see shows, the staff are polite, helpful and welcoming, depends on your taste, I highly recommend you come and see Barry Steele a Roy Orbison Tribute, he will blow you away.
Huge congratulations to the Leatherhead Operatic Society on the fantastic performance of Little Shop Of Horrors. A firm favourite and it did not disappoint a professional production and the attention to detail was insane. The cast and crew should be so proud love it
