.The platform is located in a wonderful place, it is unique. I like the idea behind the breakfast names 'full fare' 'half fare' which seems to have been incorporated from its history. The food was lovely as well as the chocolate brownies. Service was amazing. Have a drive or walk to The Platform and take in a breath of fresh air from the food and scenery.
I really like it here nI love to eat a scone and get clotted cream on my nose and then lick it off and drink a delicious pot of tea. nI don’t really like other people’s Dogs sniffing my food though nI think it would be a good idea if the servers dressed as old school ticket collectors and they had sounds of trains wizzing past and maybe someone shouting ‘ALL ABOARD’ every now and then
Great place to stop on a bike ride or walk great food and atmosphere. Warm inside and tables outside to relax with the hound.
It was really busy, so needed to sit outside. The food was lovely and the staff were helpful. Good value for money is a pleasant setting but a little too busy x
