I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say the customer service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept constantly. Pricing is fair and they serve big portions.

Nice crispy batter on the fish which isn't dripping with grease like some other places! Good sized portions. Very friendly staff who appreciate your business. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Newbury.
Love it when fish n chips taste fresh and the batter is still crispy, good portion sizes, friendly staff and proper curry sauce! They even threw in a battered 'pig in blanket' which was so naughty but sooo nice. Proper chippy this, will definitely go back

Ordered two meals, one fish and chips, one battered sausage and chips. That was all. And they asked four times to get the right order and when I arrived at my hotel the order was wrong. No salt and vinegar when we asked for quite a lot. The food was actually nice but the service was rubbish.
Always good fish and chips especially the plaice decent curry sauce as well!
