We had two of the American breakfasts here. The food was good and the coffee was filter. Toilets were clean.nMy wife fell outside the door in a dangerous drain see photo. The manager was not very helpful in her level of assistance but did provide some bandages for her knee.
Have been driving past here for ages but this time we stopped for lunch and we weren't disappointed.nYou can choose from the menu on the wall above the counter or create your own meal from the vast assortment of already cooked meats and vegetables.nYou pay at the till and in no time at all your order is delivered to your table.nThe decor is American Diner and is bright and cheery. My son had The Big Pitstop Burger and I had sausage egg and chips both were lovely.nCan't wait to return.
One of the worst restaurant meals I've had in a long time. Charged 11 pound for what was worse than a school dinner. Absolutely no taste to the vegetables whatsoever. I used to come here on a weekly basis as a teenager and the food was always amazing. It has gone seriously downhill since then.
Great place we had breakfast, will be going back for a lunch or evening meal
Been a long-standing customer of pitstop, always love the sit in part, great staff, great food. Today tried the takeaway part, but sat in as there are a few seats... terrible experience. Staff were so rude and unprofessional. Not a please or a thank you for anyone going through here today. We sat down while the food was being prepped and our tea and coffee was set up on counter without so much as a shout over to get them. Milk put in both and neither of us takes milk. The replacement ones were near threw at me, then the plates of food again set up on the counter with people walking past them and again not even a shout over to come and grab them. Then the language of the staff was unreal in a service environment. Very disappointing. Food was great, a reflection of the owners and kitchen staff, but these staff were horrendous. Thursday 14th November at 11.30 for reference
