very filling, the entire building inside and out is made up beautifully, it is all clean and we'll done. Now for the staff. The staff were absolutely incredible, so friendly, talkative and very warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel good. Even for my nephews birthday, four of them stood in a line and sang happy birthday with us. If the food wasn't great, I would still go back just because of the staff. In conclusion: the food looked and tasted great, 5 out of 5. The staff were beyond exceptional, 7 out of 5. The place, decor, building is beautiful, clean and warm. I will most definitely return.

The food was (as always) extremely good. However, front of house service was appalling - first of all, I was left locked in the ladies toilets as I'm disabled but those toilets were out of order. I hadn't even sat down before the waitress was asking for our order, she came back three times in quick succession before we had to ask for another waitress. When I asked for the manager as we left, we ended up with three different people who all at various points, claimed to be him! Don't think we'll be using the fish restaurant again.

Lovely food (amazing mushy peas), children aren't a nuisance here, very very patient and polite staff, probably best customer service my family have experienced. Couldn't fault it at all. Would recommend.

Food is always good. We went on mothers day was very busy but so conscious of these. So continued to pop over to make sure everything was OK. Brilliant food. The blonde waitress was the thing keeping it together. She is definitely a keeper!!

It was pretty quiet when we visited, though not totally empty. The serving staff were very polite and welcoming - they brought us a high chair and interacted very well with the kids. We were also talked through the benefits of going for a kid's meal deal which seemed very reasonable. Or eldest is 4 and only ever rats the cops at places like this so we declined the deal. Shortly after we received our food we realised we hadn't requested my vegan wife's chips were cooked in vegetable oil, so we had to awkwardly relay this to the staff. They were very understanding and immediately brought us some replacements. We fully expected to pay for the mistake as it was our error, but they told us not to worry about it and gave us the chips for free. It was a very low cost mistake to rectify, but I thought their response was lovely. They didn't have to, but because they did, it made our experience so much better than it could have been. I heartily recommend this restaurant based on our experience of visiting at around 5pm on a rainy Wednesday in March. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the environment was clean and well appointed. Great ebayer A+++
